Royal Decks And Landscapes has been building custom outdoor living spaces since 2005.

A warranty is only as strong as the company behind it. With nearly two decades of continuous operation in the GTA, our warranty is backed by long-term stability, experience, and a proven track record.

When you choose Royal Decks, you are choosing a company that has been here — and plans to remain here — for years to come.

5-Year Workmanship Warranty

We provide a 5-year workmanship warranty on all completed structural and hardscape projects.

This warranty covers defects resulting directly from improper installation or construction performed by our team. If an issue arises due to workmanship within the warranty period, we will repair or correct it at no additional charge.

Workmanship Coverage Includes

• Structural framing and installation
• Decking and fastening systems
• Railing installation
• Pergolas, roof structures, and covered areas
• Stone patios, retaining walls, and hardscape construction performed by our team

Warranty coverage begins on the date of project completion.

1-Year Planting Warranty

Living materials require proper care and maintenance to thrive.

We provide a 1-year limited warranty on plant material installed by Royal Decks And Landscapes.

This warranty applies to trees, shrubs, and perennials that fail due to installation-related issues.

Plant Warranty Conditions

Plant warranty coverage requires:

• Proper watering and maintenance
• Functional irrigation (if applicable)
• No alterations to soil grade or drainage around planting areas

Seasonal damage, improper care, drought conditions, or extreme weather events are not covered.

Manufacturer Material Warranties

Many of the products we install — including composite decking, PVC decking, railing systems, lighting, and specialty materials — carry their own manufacturer warranties.

These warranties vary by product and may range from 10 years to limited lifetime coverage depending on the material.

What Is Covered

Our workmanship warranty applies to:

• Installation-related defects
• Construction errors
• Structural issues directly caused by improper building practices

If a valid claim is identified, we will repair or replace the affected area as necessary.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Required routine maintenance
• Damage caused by third parties
• Alterations or modifications performed by others
• Movement caused by soil conditions, drainage changes, or natural settlement
• Extreme weather events, flooding, fire, or other acts of nature

Outdoor structures are exposed to environmental conditions, and minor movement or material changes over time are considered normal.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

If you believe there is an issue covered under our workmanship warranty, please complete the warranty request form above.

To ensure your request can be reviewed properly, please provide:

• A clear description of the concern
• Photos of the affected area
• Your project address
• Approximate project completion date

Once submitted, we will review the information and may schedule a site inspection if necessary.

Important

Submission of a warranty request does not automatically constitute an approved claim. All warranty matters are subject to inspection and confirmation by Royal Decks And Landscapes.

Warranty service must be requested before any third-party repairs are performed. Repairs completed by others without prior written approval may void warranty coverage.

Additional Terms

This workmanship warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
